Seven Assets Model
Is feminism a dirty word? "The former call to action labeled feminism is now largely a dirty word in friendly circles, yet the roles of women as leaders in every aspect of our world only expand, grow and evolve," says Moe Carrick of Moementum, LLC. What is our language for describing women's accountabilities? What are we, as women, responsible for, forty years after 'women's liberation' demanded equality? Carrick proposes these Seven Assets; dialogue, honesty, risk, authenticity, ownership, empathy and flexibility.

To learn more about delivering a workshop or hosting a speech on these key tools for effectiveness in today's world for women please contact Moementum at 541-382-0778 or inquire here.

Asset 1; Dialogue
The skill of rigorously talking with other's for the purpose of shared learning and understanding, even when it feels scary or requires vulnerability.

Asset 2; Honesty
The tensile strength to look realistically at self and others for what we each are, not what we wish we would be, in order to navigate partnerships.

Asset 3; Risk
The willingness to step out, speak up, and take action against the tide of popular opinion and on behalf of real learning.

Asset 4; Authenticity
To be what we say we are, and to not mask our true thoughts and feelings in order to fit in, make others comfortable, lay low, or not rock the boat, knowing that our authentic selves bring the most value.

Asset 5; Ownership
To claim our choices as just that, our choices, and honor the choices of others to be different.

Asset 6; Empathy
The rare talent of being open to the real experience of others, and the ability to reveal ourselves, despite the tension it begets, because we know that in vulnerability leads the creation of real trust.

Asset 7; Flexibility
The ability to change, modify, adapt and adjust quickly and with grace. Avoiding rigidity, we are able to bend with grace and energy, rather than resolutely staying put.
